Our Facial Menu Just Got a Glow-Up: Introducing 4 New Facial Tiers
At The Night Shift, Santa Cruz's after-hours skincare and waxing studio, if you've booked a facial with us before, you know that skincare isn't one-size-fits-all. Your skin's needs change depending on where you are in your journey — whether you're trying us for the first time, working through a specific concern, or maintaining results from a plan we've already built together.
That's why we've redesigned our facial menu into four clear, purpose-built tiers. Here's what's new, and how to figure out which one is right for you.
Discover Your Tier
EXPRESS 30 Minute | $100
Sometimes you don't need (or have time for) a full treatment — you just need a reset. Our Express facial is a quick, effective refresh designed to fit into a lunch break, a busy week, or the day before a big event. It's not a "lesser" facial, just a shorter one, focused on giving your skin an immediate boost without the extended appointment.
Best for: clients who already know their skin and just need a quick tune-up.
SIGNATURE 60 Minute | $160
This is where most people start, and for good reason. The Signature facial is a well-rounded, classic treatment that gives us — and you — a real feel for your skin and our approach, without introducing too many variables at once. A single add-on modality is included at this tier.
Best for: first-time clients, or anyone new to facials altogether. This is our recommended starting point.
Advanced 75 Minutes | $200
Once we have a sense of your skin, the Advanced facial gives us room to get more specific. The extra 15 minutes makes space for add-on modalities like microdermabrasion, LED light therapy, dermaplaning, and facial gua sha, which allow us to target concerns like texture, tone, and deeper exfoliation more precisely than a standard facial allows.
Best for: clients ready to move beyond the basics and start addressing specific skin goals.
Reset 90 Minutes | $320
Our most comprehensive facial, the Hard Reset. Designed for clients who already have a personalized plan in place with us, need more extensive extractions, or simply want extra time for massage and relaxation built into the treatment. Add-on modalities are included at this tier at no additional cost. Because it builds on what we already know about your skin, we typically recommend this as a 2nd or 3rd visit rather than a starting point.
Best for: returning clients continuing a treatment plan, or anyone who needs deeper extraction work or extra massage time.
Please note: all add-ons are included at the discretion of your service provider following a consultation and assessment of your skin's stability and health.

New to us? Start with Signature (60 min).
Know your skin and just need a quick refresh? Book Express (30 min).
Ready to target specific concerns? Ask about Advanced (75 min).
Already have a plan with us, or need deeper work? Book Reset (90 min).

A Note on Pricing and Packages
If you already have a facial package with us, nothing about it has changed. Your pricing and remaining visits are exactly as you purchased them. As always:
Single-session packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase
12- and 24-visit packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
As we close out our first year in business, some individual service prices have been updated to reflect current costs — but this only applies to new bookings, not existing packages. Full, up-to-date pricing is always listed at thenightshiftsc.com.
